Are you talking about for one particular overlay or for several different overlays? I could try to put something together. I just asked the vendor about custom making overlays and I'm waiting on a reply. Hopefully I'll get something tomorrow.

Good idea!! I'll hit them up tomorrow. Logging off for now.

**Edit** Back temporarily........I'm going to contact the vendor and see what he can do for a group buy. Once I have some info from him, I'll work with nhtoc to get the buy approved for this site and we'll take it from there. That's if the vendor is willing to do a group buy. And I'll check with him about becoming a SV.

Copy of the email I sent to Devries Signs just a minute ago:

I hope this email finds it's way to the right person as I believe I can generate some very positive business for your company.

I am a member of a website called The National Harley Truck Owners Club (www.nhtoc.com). I stumbled across your overlays on ebay and posted a link on nhtoc. Needless to say, its caused quite a stir! We had a vendor who did overlays for us, but after numerous bad business deals, that vendor was banned from the site. Since that time, we've been searching high and low for another company that makes quality overlays and haven't had any luck until this evening.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mike XXXXXXX and I'm an assistant store manager for the Home Depot. Prior to that, I was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. I'm telling you this so you don't think I'm some 16 year old kid writing you about a business opportunity.

But more to the point. Would your company be interested in offering a discount if we purchased a large quantity of overlays? I believe most of them would be ones you already have made, specifically ones aimed at 2000-2003 F-150 owners. I also believe that there would be a mixture of grill, steering wheel, and tailgate emblems. How many total overlays would we have to purchase to make this worth your while? Obviously, it would only be one transaction for you, but it would be a rather large one. I certainly wouldn't expect you to process numerous orders and try to figure out who's supposed to receive a discount. When we organize a group buy, there's a timeline involved (ie, the members have until a certain date to place their order and paypal their money to the individual who's organizing the group buy). This ensures you won't get burned, as I've read that you've had a problem with that in the past.

Addtionally, how do you handle orders for overlays that you don't currently make? Can you make "one-off" overlays, or do we need to make a larger purchase of a special design that's been supplied to you?

Thank-you for your time and consideration and I look forward to doing business with you.

    Respectfully,
    Mike XXXXXXX

A few af them looked gel coated in the pics. I would like to be sure before purchase though. I already had a one off billet Fast emblem made for the rear tailgate and get numerous compliments on it. Would be interested in one for the grill though. Let us know bro.

**EDIT** Email sent regarding the gel coating. I'll post up whatever I find out about the GB and the gel coating.

They have several gel overlays on their site. They called them domed decals. If there is a group buy on these, I'm definitely in. I want the front, back, and steering wheel overlays for my truck. If not, I'm still going to buy some from them. BTW, great find Snake.

Yes, doming is what you're talking about.

"What is doming? Its the process of pouring liquid polyurethane over a vinyl decal. When cured, it creates a 1/16" 'dome' of crystal clear, flexible (and durable!) resin. This really makes a flat decal look three dimensional. PROTECTS the decal from scratches as well."
